Okay I see it so so often that what do you do with that hard as a rock Factory Mattress.
We did not even make it through our first trip before we could take no more. I literally was not sleeping and I swear you could of bounced a quarter off of that thing!! We sleep at home with a sleep number for reference.
I went to Amazon, with both of us having bad backs we wanted something that would work. We questioned replacing the whole mattress but decided we didn't want to have to deal with the disposal of the old one.
This is a two part mattress cover system. You get gel memory foam and a quilted topper. It is almost a little too lush, but not quite. It however beats almost all hotel beds.
We made it a full year camping before needing to rotate the gel padding. We slept on the bed about over a month last year.
I highly recommend this system. It is not the cheapest solution but it is definitely one that works. If you do not like pillow top feel I would not recommend this system.
