Okay so this list is what we bought to start. At the very end I will add the supplies we have since added.
Outdoor Items
Leveling
Andersen Levelers are a must. These expensive items keep you from arguing at the campground which in my book is amazing. The saying is true "Sorry for what I said while trying to back up the camper".
Two Packs of Camco blocks, we use these for our jack and our stabilizer we are four campgrounds in and have opened both bags all trips.
We bought two packs of these. For us we bought white because they blend the best with our camper. They are also available in black. My husband preferred stick on vs screw on since he doesn't trust camper manufacturing.
Remember to set up on as flat of a surface as possible parking lot if you can find it and use a 4' level to install.
Sewer
The much needed sewer hose and we opted for the heavier duty hose since we have a destructive toddler and two dogs who we need to plan for.
We did not have this for our first trip but we quicky bought it for our second after fighting the slope of the site to get our sewer hose to drain
We bought this because we are clean freaks when it comes to sewer and smell. We use the hose for our flush system on our Spirit 2454BH and then attached system for rinsing if needed. We also bought a colored hose that matched our other sewer items so it was very clear that is the sewer hose.
Water System
We went for the standard Camco drinking hose. Just kept it simple.
We also use the Camco's water filtration with flex connector. The flex connector is important because it reduces tension on all connection points. You should also get a 90 degree elbow adapter to assist with the pressure points on the hose system.
Here is the 90 degree connector. For our set up we always hook this to the camper then the flex connector, followed by the hose or filter depending on the site. We also add a flow regulator. This has been helpful especially in smaller mountain campgrounds.
Electrical
We bought a surge guard per the camping stores instruction. After hearing stories on Facebook the surge protector is well worth the money. I personally do not want to mess with any electrical issues.
Our camper came with a 30 Amp cord but this is what it looks like.
We also bought the adapter since so many campgrounds have 30/50 amp hook ups this way if there is ever an issue with the 30 we are good and also if we book a 50 amp we are always good.
Additional Items
Vacuum
Okay we personally travel with dogs and a toddler so this is a must have. While it is not the best vacuum in the world the fact that it breaks down so small makes it great for the camper.
We use this to vacuum under the two carpets for the slide out to prevent any scratches or damage to the floor.
Stabilizing
We have the extend fit due to our campers wheel base. Please pay attention to sizing prior to buying.
